TOM
SCHNEIDER Tom Schneider
has been a professional poker player for the last four years playing against
some of the toughest players in the world and in some of the biggest games. He
has four money finishes at the World Series of Poker including two final
tables. He has two money finishes in World Series of Poker Circuit events
including one final table, and he finished third in a World Poker Tour
tournament. So far in 2006, he has $363,000 in tournament winnings.
Prior to playing poker for a living, he was the President of a public golf
company, Royal Precision. He is a certified public accountant and was the Chief
Financial Officer for three different companies. He was the Controller for Ping
Golf for five years. In addition to these positions, for the last four
years he has been a business and gaming consultant to Wager, Inc., a slot
machine and table game development company. He is also the Executive Producer
of a rock band. Tom is married, has two daughters and one
step-daughter. He loves speaking and has performed standup comedy at the Tempe
Improv. His unusual career path has enabled him to write a book that
teaches very unique lessons that crossover from business to poker and his
personal life with a wonderful humorous style. He doesnt take himself
seriously, but he does provide some fascinating perspectives and different view
points on everyday life, poker and business.
He is the author of the
new book, "Oops! I Won Too Much Money: Winning Wisdom from the Boardroom
to the Poker Table.
